The Zodiac tree features strong vigor and a semi-open crown. The variety is self-fertile and well-adapted to areas with low to medium chilling requirements. Maturation dates are 15–32 days ahead of the Redhaven variety.
Fruits have a flat shape with a closed pit and A/B caliber. The skin is 40–60% or more covered in dark red color. Flesh is white, crunchy, with a sugar level of about 11.7 Brix. Fruits are resistant to cracking and suitable for transportation.
