Variety description

10 August 2026

An adult tree reaches a height of 15–20 meters; depending on growing conditions, specimens of 6–8 meters may be encountered. At a young age, the crown has a pyramidal shape with a straight leader, becoming broadly ovoid and rounded with age. The bark on the trunk is dark gray, deeply furrowed; young branches are dark brown.

The leaves are large, lobed. Upon emergence, they are green, changing color to dark green-purple or red-purple by the end of summer. The variety possesses frost resistance of zone 5a and is resistant to powdery mildew and wind. It is used in landscape design for the landscaping of parks and gardens.
