The variety is a hybrid combining genetic material from radish and cabbage in equal proportions. The plant is characterized by good initial growth and a low tendency to flower.
The primary purpose of the variety is for use as a green manure. The variety possesses pronounced resistance to a number of nematode species: Meloidogyne chitwoodi, Meloidogyne fallax and Meloidogyne hapla.
