The plant forms tall flower stalks reaching 90–150 cm in height. The variety name translates as "tiger throat" due to the flower coloration: dark pink or pink petals with a distinct yellow pattern inside the throat.
The variety is intended exclusively for ornamental gardening and is characterized by a long flowering period from spring to autumn. Unlike some other members of the genus, this variety is not used for industrial or pharmaceutical purposes.
