The Apache Spirit variety belongs to the group of Rhipsalidopsis, which in modern botanical classification are often classified as the genus Hatiora. The plant is characterized by white flowers, while the tips of the buds have a yellow hue. The phylloclades (stems) are light green and are distinguished by a lighter tone compared to a number of other varieties.
Agronomic characteristics of the plant, such as maturity group or disease resistance, are not presented in open publications. The variety is primarily regarded as a collector's and ornamental plant, and it frequently appears in registers as a reference object for comparison when describing new breeding hybrids.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
