The variety «Bertina» belongs to the group of «Belgian indica» azaleas and is a dwarf shrub, reaching a height of 30–50 cm in pot cultivation.
The plant is characterized by a dark green color of the upper side of the leaf. Growing this variety requires strict adherence to soil acidity in the range of pH 4–4.5 and the irrigation regime.
