Variety description

The plant is a wide-spreading shrub about 30–50 cm in height with bright green foliage. The flowers are small, pinkish-white, and inconspicuous. In autumn, the leaves acquire bright shades: yellow, orange, red, and deep purple.
The variety is intended exclusively for decorative purposes as a ground cover plant and develops well in any well-drained soil. The fruits are red berries; however, the variety is not intended for harvest due to the lack of palatability and an unpleasant odor.
The plant can act as an alternate host for white pine blister rust; therefore, it is not recommended to plant it near pine plantings.
