The bush is of medium vigor, semi-spreading or broad-rounded with thick, arcuate shoots. Spines are of medium length and thickness, solitary, with a medium degree of spinescence. Leaves and shoots lack pubescence.
The berries have an oval or rounded-oval shape, are medium to large in size, and covered with a waxy bloom with visible light veining. A firm, dark red skin protects the juicy greenish pulp. The berries remain on the bushes for a long time without dropping and tolerate transportation well.
The variety possesses good winter hardiness and high resistance to American gooseberry mildew. The berries are versatile in use, suitable for fresh consumption and all types of commercial processing.
