Variety description

The variety is a vigorous upright shrub 250–300 cm in height and 100–150 cm in width. Stems are flexible, covered with thorns. Foliage is large, glossy, dark green with a possible reddish tint on young shoots.

Flowers are goblet-shaped, double, 9–12 cm in diameter, colored in velvety dark red, which does not fade in the sun. The fragrance is rich, with notes of raspberry and wine. The plant is repeat-flowering, with blooming continuing in waves from June until frosts.

The variety possesses good resistance to black spot and powdery mildew; the flowers are rain-resistant. Winter hardiness corresponds to zone 6, withstanding frosts down to -23°C. It is used in vertical landscaping for decorating supports, arches, and walls.
