The bush is upright, compact, reaches a height of 90–100 cm, and is densely covered with large dark green slightly wrinkled foliage. The stems are characterized by the presence of a large number of thorns.

The garnet-red flowers are goblet or globular shaped. They are large, 10–12 cm in diameter, double, and contain up to 65 petals. The flowers are gathered in inflorescences of 5–10 per stem.

Flowering is abundant, recurrent or continuous throughout the growing season; the fragrance is weak or absent. The variety possesses high resistance to powdery mildew and black spot, withstands frosts down to -29°C, but has low resistance to rain.
