The variety belongs to the hybrid tea rose group and is part of the Smooth Touch series, created by breeder Harvey Davidson. The plant's main morphological feature is the absence or extremely small number of thorns: as the shoots grow, they become almost smooth.

The breeding program during which the variety was obtained focused on developing plants with increased disease resistance and overall endurance. Due to the absence of thorns, the variety is convenient to maintain, as this facilitates pruning and other work with the bush.
