The plant is a deciduous shrub reaching 1.5 m in height and 1.2 m in width. The shoots are equipped with thorns, and the foliage consists of dark green ovate serrated leaflets. The variety is used for ornamental purposes and as a parent form for breeding other roses.

Flowering continues from late spring to autumn. The variety requires full sun exposure and well-drained soils, including chalk, clay, loam, and sandy types. Full maturity of the plant is reached in a period of 2 to 5 years.
