The variety belongs to the groundcover rose group, is part of the Rigo-Roses collection, and was obtained by crossing a The Fairy seedling with the variety Amanda. The bush is compact and spreading, reaching a height of 30–65 cm with a width of 60–70 cm. The foliage is small, dark green, and glossy.

The flowers are raspberry-red, double, 3–6 cm in diameter, and gathered in large inflorescences. The fragrance is practically absent. Flowering is profuse and almost continuous throughout the season; the flowers are resistant to rain and fading.

The plant possesses high winter hardiness (USDA zone 6) and excellent resistance to powdery mildew and black spot, which is noted by an ADR certificate. The variety is also known by the synonyms Gardener's Pleasure, Toscana, Toscana Balconia, Toscana Vigorosa, and Lancashire.
