The variety is a park rose obtained by crossing Rosa rugosa 'Plena' and 'Abelzieds'. The plant forms a vase-shaped, well-branched shrub 120 to 170 cm in height and 100–150 cm in width. The shoots are prickly; the foliage is large, green, rugose, with a slight sheen.
The flowers are double, cup-shaped, 6–8 cm in diameter, and have up to 30 petals. The petal color is light pink with a darker center, sometimes with an apricot tint; the fragrance is light, apple-like. The flowers are gathered in inflorescences of 3–5 pieces. The variety is repeat-flowering; blooming lasts from mid-June until frosts. It does not produce fruit.
The variety is adapted to a cold climate and is intended for landscaping parks and gardens. Approximately five years after planting, it is recommended to perform rejuvenating pruning to the stump.
