The variety belongs to the hybrid tea rose group. The upright bush reaches a height of 80–120 cm and a width of about 70 cm. The plant is characterized by vigorous growth and dense foliage.
The flowers are large, 8–14 cm in diameter, double, with about 30–35 petals. The petal color is dark burgundy, raspberry-red, with a velvety sheen and dark iridescent shades. The fragrance is strong, classic, with notes of lemon.
Flowering is remontant, continuing from early summer until frosts. The variety has good winter hardiness within USDA zones 6b–7a (down to -18...-23°C) and acceptable disease resistance, although susceptibility to powdery mildew is possible in high humidity conditions.
