The variety is a wide spreading shrub 80–110 cm in height. The plant has medium-green foliage with very small, shiny leaves. The flowers are red, simple, small, approximately 2 cm in diameter, and gathered in inflorescences.

Flowering is once-blooming. After the flowering period ends, the shrub retains its decorative quality due to the appearance of small fruits. The variety is undemanding regarding soil type, propagates well by cuttings, and is easily pruned.

The plant possesses high resistance to pests and diseases, as well as drought and frost tolerance. In severe winters, the upper part of the shoots may experience frost damage, but the base of the shrub remains undamaged.
