The variety belongs to the hybrid tea group and was obtained by crossing the varieties Karen Blixen and Blue Moon. The bush is upright and compact, reaching a height of 75 to 150 cm with a width of 65–95 cm. The plant has dense dark green foliage with a glossy sheen.
The flowers are large, double, 10–15 cm in diameter, consisting of 25–50 petals. The color is rich, matte lilac with a bluish tint. The fragrance is spicy, of medium intensity. When cut, the flowers remain fresh for up to 10 days.
The variety is repeat-flowering with a good ability to renew blooming throughout the season. The plant is characterized by resistance to heat and drought; winter hardiness corresponds to USDA zone 6b (down to -18…-21 °C).
