The variety belongs to the group of hybrid tea roses. The flowers are characterized by an apricot-pink color. The variety was bred specifically for use as a cut flower crop under protected cultivation conditions.

In the official technical protocols of UPOV and CPVO, the Ruirovingt variety is used as a reference sample when conducting distinctness, uniformity, and stability tests for other rose varieties.
