The object is a specialized form of rootstock developed for the needs of commercial floriculture. It is bred from a form of Rosa canina characterized by the absence of prickles.

The use of this rootstock contributes to obtaining high-quality cut roses. Compared to other types of rootstocks or own-root cultivation, the use of Sturtri can lead to a decrease in the total volume of production while achieving better quality indicators of the flower itself.
