Variety description

The variety forms an upright, vigorous bush 80–120 cm high and 70–100 cm wide with dark green glossy foliage. The flowers are large, 8–12 cm in diameter, have a double structure with up to 100 petals and an old-fashioned rosette shape.

The plant is remontant, blooming profusely throughout the season. The shoots are sturdy and capable of supporting heavy inflorescences. The flowers are rain-resistant and remain fresh in a vase for up to 10 days. Frost resistance corresponds to zone 5 down to -29°C.

The variety is suitable for solitary and group plantings, use in flower beds and container cultivation. It is known under the commercial name Chippendale and a number of synonyms, including Duchess of Cornwall, Music Hall, Ali Man and Ali Mau.
