The variety was obtained as a result of crossing the varieties Rosa rugosa 'Frau Dagmar Hastrup' and 'Zilga'. The plant belongs to the floribunda group.

The rose has a smoky-purple color. The buds slowly open into double flowers of an old-fashioned shape; the variety is used as a central element of garden compositions.
