The variety forms a compact rounded bush 70–120 cm high. The flowers are 7–8 cm in diameter and consist of five petals of a fiery red shade with yellow stamens, collected in small inflorescences. The foliage is matte green; young leaves may have a burgundy tint. After flowering, the plant produces orange-red hips.
Flowering is abundant and almost continuous from late spring until frost. The plant is characterized by high resistance to powdery mildew, black spot, and downy mildew. USDA hardiness zone 4–10, withstands temperatures down to -23...-29°C. Suitable for creating mass plantings, hedges, and container gardening.
