Variety description

The variety is a hybrid of Rubus occidentalis and Rubus idaeus. The bush is vigorous, reaches a height of about 1.5 meters, has an erect habit and shoots with numerous strong thorns, while producing a small number of root suckers.
The variety is remontant: the crop ripens in two stages — in mid-June on biennial shoots and starting from the end of August on current-year shoots. The berries are conical, weighing 3.5–4.0 g, have a dark purple, almost black color with a gloss, a sweet taste and aroma.
The plant possesses high resistance to anthracnose and other shoot and root diseases. The berries are distinguished by an increased content of vitamin C and antioxidants; the variety is suitable both for fresh consumption and for various types of processing.
