The plant forms a dense rosette of yellowish-green or dark green leaves with medium-thickness petioles. Leaf length reaches 30 cm, and the total plant height can be up to 60 cm.
The leaves have a characteristic acidic taste and are used fresh or for culinary processing. The variety is characterized by rapid regrowth of greens after cutting, but it is prone to early development of flower stalks.
The variety has low resistance to frost and is subject to winterkill in harsh climatic conditions, which is why it is recommended primarily for southern regions. Plantings require renewal every 3–4 years.
