Variety description

The plant reaches a height of 2–3 meters and is characterized by intensive early regrowth in spring. The productive lifespan in plantations is up to 8–10 years. The variety is characterized by high leafiness and good regrowth after mowing.
The crop possesses stress tolerance, high ecological plasticity, frost resistance, winter hardiness, and is also capable of growing on moist and saline soils. In certain conditions, a potential for uncontrolled spread in anthropogenic landscapes has been noted.
Green mass yield is 85–98 t/ha with a dry matter output of up to 13 t/ha. Forage value is determined by a high protein content. When used as biofuel, the energy potential of the dry matter is 18–19 MJ/kg.
