The plant has the form of a compact rounded shrub 50–70 cm in height, sometimes up to 1 m. The foliage is small, aromatic, green or grayish-green in color. The flowers are intensely dark blue or blue-violet and are located on peduncles with a violet tint.
Flowering is abundant and prolonged, lasting from late spring or early summer until the first frosts. The variety is drought-tolerant, requires good drainage, and tolerates excessive soil moisture poorly. The plant is not prone to lodging, maintains a neat appearance, and attracts pollinating insects.
