Variety description
10 August 2026
The plant is a highly branched perennial 60–90 cm in height and up to 100–120 cm in width. The leaves are narrow, grey-green on top and whitish on the bottom due to dense pubescence.
Inflorescences 15–30 cm long have the shape of spicate racemes. Flowering begins in late summer and continues until frost. The variety is thermophilic, belongs to USDA hardiness zones 8b–10b, and is grown as a seasonal or container plant in cold regions.
The plant is resistant to deer damage and lodging. It is used in landscape design for borders, group plantings, and container cultivation, and it attracts insect pollinators and hummingbirds.
