The plant is a compact shrub 60–70 cm tall and 50–80 cm wide. The ovate leaves have a medium to dark green shade and are aromatic. Large bilabiate flowers are bright crimson and complemented by dark purple calyces.

The variety is intended for cultivation in borders, mixed flower beds, and containers, attracting bees and butterflies. The plant exhibits drought tolerance after establishment and is considered moderately winter hardy, requiring protection during severe frosts. To maintain the shrub's shape, spring pruning of damaged shoots is recommended.
