Variety description

The variety is a hybrid derived from Scabiosa atropurpurea and Scabiosa caucasica species. The plant is a perennial, often grown as a short-lived crop in cultivation. Plant height varies from 60 to 120 cm depending on growing conditions.

Inflorescences have a dense pincushion shape and a diameter of 5–7.5 cm. The plant prefers full sun and is a long-day crop. The variety is intended for cultivation in greenhouses, tunnels, or open field and is propagated exclusively by vegetative methods.

The flowers are characterized by a long vase life and the absence of pollen, which is highly valued in floristry. Compared to traditional seed-grown varieties, plants of this series demonstrate increased resistance to diseases and pests.
