Variety description

The plant forms dense clumps with entire basal leaves and pinnately-parted stem leaves. Large solitary flowers of a lavender-blue shade reach 7.5 cm in diameter and are situated on strong flower stalks approximately 50 cm high.
The variety is intended for group plantings, border decoration, and cut flowers. The plant prefers sunny areas with well-drained soils of neutral acidity, and is sensitive to waterlogging and high summer temperatures. With regular removal of faded inflorescences, flowering continues from May until frost.
No serious issues with diseases and pests have been recorded for the variety, although infestations of aphids, whiteflies, and powdery mildew are possible.
