Variety description

The plant has a dense mound-like form, reaching 15 cm in height and up to 30 cm in width. The variety forms strong, short peduncles that do not lodge and is characterized by a high growth rate from cutting to commercial maturity.
Flowers of a violet-purple shade appear from spring to summer; up to 50 or more flowers can bloom simultaneously on one specimen. The variety is winter hardy down to -20 ºC, prefers a sunny location and well-drained fertile soils.
