The plant is a natural bud mutation of the Angelina variety. It is characterized by a dense, bushy habit with shoots that can be both upright and trailing. Height ranges from 8 to 15 cm. The variety differs from the parent form by its more compact shape and its ability to retain a bright golden leaf color even during the winter period.
Flowering is rare or absent under industrial cultivation conditions; occasionally, the appearance of yellow flowers is noted during the summer period. The plant possesses high garden hardiness, tolerates frosts down to -40°C (USDA zones 4a–9b), and is drought-resistant. Susceptibility to diseases and pests is rare.
The variety is used as an ornamental groundcover plant and is suitable for rock gardens, borders, and container gardening. It is valued in landscape design as a low-maintenance crop with stable leaf coloration.
