Variety description
10 August 2026
The plant is a perennial shrubby succulent. Under indoor conditions, it usually reaches a height of 20–30 cm, and under optimal conditions, it can grow to 80 cm or more. The shoots are succulent and brittle. The leaves are cylindrical in shape, resembling pine needles, and are colored bluish-green or light gray due to the presence of a waxy coating.
Flowering is accompanied by the appearance of yellow daisy-like inflorescences at the tips of the shoots. The plant is used exclusively for decorative purposes in protected cultivation. It is considered relatively low-maintenance, however, it is sensitive to overwatering and water stagnation, requiring a well-drained substrate.
The plant contains pyrrolizidine alkaloids and is poisonous if ingested.
