Variety description

The plant reaches a height of 60–70 cm and forms clumps with erect stems. The variety is characterized by bright double flowers, which distinguishes it from the species form.
The flowering period occurs in late spring and continues until mid-summer. The plant prefers well-drained soils and sunny areas or partial shade; it is used in ornamental gardening for planting in borders and mixed borders.
