Variety description

10 August 2026

The Wanto variety, also known under the trade name LUWIAN, is a low-growing evergreen shrub. At maturity, the plant reaches a height of about 75 cm. Flowering occurs between March and May; the flowers have a creamy-white color with a purple blotch.

The plant is classified as a male variety. Due to its compact form, the shrub is suitable for cultivation in pots, window boxes, and for inclusion in mixed borders to provide structure.
