The variety belongs to the cherry tomato group. Research on the plant was conducted primarily in the hilly terrain conditions of the Italian Campania region.
The plant was subjected to scientific study regarding its resistance to irrigation deficit. When grown in open field, the variety demonstrates susceptibility to bacterial speck caused by Pseudomonas syringae pv. tomato.
