In official registers and databases of breeding achievements, information on a tomato variety named "Amadeus" is absent. The name "Amadeus" is encountered in international databases in relation to other agricultural crops, such as potatoes or forage plants.

In open sources, under the name "Amadey F1", a hybrid is offered that has no relation to original Bayer breeding. The descriptions of this hybrid are contradictory: in some sources, plants are characterized as tall, in others — as determinate (35–40 cm).

Fruits of the "Amadey F1" hybrid are described as red, with a weight of 90–110 g, oval-ovate or round in shape, with versatile use. Comprehensive resistance to diseases and unfavorable growing conditions is claimed.
