Ambrosia F1 tomato is a professional early-maturing hybrid developed based on RAF-type genetics. The fruits are ribbed, have a balanced taste, and possess an increased shelf life. The plant is resistant to tomato yellow leaf curl virus (TYLCV) and is characterized by high productivity with less demanding maintenance.
There is also a group of amateur varieties under the name Ambrosia. Ambrosia Red is an indeterminate early-maturing cherry variety with round red fruits weighing 20–25 g. Ambrosia Orange is a tall early-maturing cherry variety with fruits weighing 8–10 g. The Blue Ambrosia variety is characterized by purple shoulders on fruits weighing about 20 g, and Ambrosia Giant is distinguished by chocolate-red fruits of a large size for a cherry tomato.
