The variety is indeterminate, reaching a height of 180–200 cm in greenhouses and up to 150 cm in the open field. The fruit ripening period is 110–120 days from seedling emergence. The plant is characterized by resistance to many diseases and fruit cracking.
The fruits are large, fleshy, juicy-oily in consistency, with a sweet taste and fruity notes. The variety is intended for fresh consumption (salad type) and possesses good keeping quality and transportability. Requires pruning of side shoots, staking, and training the bush into 1–2 stems.
The name «Аметист» often refers to the variety «Аметистовая драгоценность» (Amethyst Jewel). It should be noted that there are other forms of tomatoes under similar names, the characteristics of which may differ significantly.
