The variety is a hybrid whose breeding is associated with the Greek institute HAO-DEMETER. The use of the variety is oriented towards industrial production.
The fruits of this tomato variety are characterized by a red color. Detailed morphological and agronomic characteristics, including maturity groups and disease resistance, are not presented in open sources.
The name is also found in scientific publications describing pepper, where a pericarp thickness of 9.0 mm is indicated. The risk of confusion due to the frequent use of the word "Apollonas" in the Greek language to denote geographical objects and other names should be taken into account.
