Armando is an early-maturing tomato hybrid with a maturation period of about 72 days. The plant is characterized by an indeterminate growth type, which implies unlimited stem development.

The saladette-type fruits have a red color, firm fleshy flesh, and are suitable for fresh consumption. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation in open field and film greenhouses.

The plant possesses genetic resistance to a number of pathogens, including Verticillium wilt, Fusarium wilt, nematodes, and tobacco mosaic virus.
