The Axtar hybrid belongs to the cherry group and forms fruits weighing 18–25 grams. The plant is characterized by a mid-early maturity group and high resistance of the fruits to cracking.

The Axtar XR F1 version of the variety possesses additional high resistance to Tomato brown rugose fruit virus (ToBRFV), in which symptoms of the disease do not appear on the vegetative and generative parts of the plant. The variety is intended for professional cultivation, including in protected cultivation conditions.
