The first-generation hybrid Banato F1 is characterized by good fruit quality indicators. During studies of carotenoid content, a beta-carotene level of 1.59 mg/kg of fresh weight was recorded.
The plant demonstrates high fruit uniformity in terms of firmness. Under certain growing conditions, in particular when exposed to mycorrhizal fungi, the fruits of the hybrid may exhibit a tendency toward an elongated shape associated with their weight.
