Bonarda F1 is a tall plant with a strong stem and short internodes. The plant has large dark green leaves, which provide good coverage for the fruits. The hybrid is distinguished by drought tolerance, which allows it to be used for cultivation in arid regions.

The fruits are resistant to cracking and have excellent keeping quality, retaining their marketability for up to 10 days after harvest. The hybrid has complex genetic resistance to tobacco mosaic virus, Fusarium wilt, Verticillium wilt, Stemphylium, and nematodes. It is used as a salad variety for the fresh market.
