The Boxer Rebellion variety is mid-season. The plant is of the determinate growth type; the bush height in the open field is 50–70 cm, and it reaches 90 cm in a greenhouse.
The fruits have an elongated shape with a small tip and a mass of 60–120 g. At the stage of biological ripeness, they are red with green, yellow, or bronze stripes. The pulp is dense, fleshy, with a low juice content, and resistant to cracking.
The variety is characterized by universal use, suitable for fresh consumption, drying, canning, and making sauces. It is distinguished by being undemanding and capable of good fruit set under stress conditions.
