The plant belongs to the cherry-plum tomato type and has an indeterminate growth habit with short internodes. The open structure of the trusses contributes to the high productivity of the variety. Fruits have a brown color and a sugar content of about 7.7º Brix.

The variety possesses high resistance (HR) and intermediate resistance (IR) to Tobacco mosaic virus (TMV), Tomato yellow leaf curl virus (TYLCV), and Stemphylium leaf spot (Ss). The fruits are distinguished by their long shelf life, which allows them to be harvested fully mature and reduces the frequency of harvests.

Bukanito F1 is recommended for early transplants in the autumn-winter cycle, as well as for cultivation before the start of the summer period.
