The plant is of the determinate type with limited growth. The medium-sized fruits have a flat or slightly flattened shape in longitudinal section.

The variety possesses resistance to a number of races of Fusarium wilt and Verticillium wilt. Due to its adaptability to various climatic conditions, including the tropics, it has been widely used in breeding programs as reference material.
