The plant is of the semi-determinate growth type and can be grown both with and without staking. The red fruits are spherical in shape and have a firm structure; their average weight is approximately 150 g.
The variety possesses pronounced resistance to bacterial wilt caused by Ralstonia solanacearum due to the restriction of bacterial spread in the xylem vessels. It is also used as an indicator in studies of resistance to tomato yellow leaf curl virus.
