The variety is a Hungarian landrace characterized by moderate initial growth and intensive tillering. The plants have a sturdy stem, are resistant to diseases, and in most cases do not require staking.
Mass ripening of fruits occurs in July. The fruits reach 5–10 cm in diameter, have a golden-yellow or orange color, and an oblate shape. The variety is intended for fresh consumption, in particular, as an ingredient in salads.
