Clarosa F1 is a first-generation hybrid with an indeterminate growth type, requiring staking. The plant is characterized by strong and balanced development, as well as good tolerance to temperature fluctuations.
The fruits are oblate in shape, slightly ribbed, and colored in an intense raspberry shade both externally and internally. The average weight of a single fruit is 220–250 g. The produce is noted for high uniformity, market quality, the presence of a firm peduncle, and good transportability.
The hybrid possesses high resistance to tomato mosaic virus, Verticillium wilt, Fusarium wilt, and Fusarium crown and root rot. Intermediate resistance is noted to root-knot nematodes, tomato spotted wilt virus, and tomato yellow leaf curl virus.
Intended for cultivation in film and glass greenhouses; the fruits are suitable for fresh consumption and processing into juice. Under elevated temperature and humidity conditions, additional calcium fertilization may be required.
